What is R2 Protocol?

R2 Protocol is an on-chain yield platform that simplifies access to real-world asset (RWA) yields. It offers a yield-bearing stablecoin, R2USD, backed by tokenized U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, and private credit strategies, aiming to provide institutional-grade yields to a broad audience.

How Does R2 Protocol Work?

Users deposit USDC or USDT into the R2 Protocol, which allocates these funds to carefully selected RWA strategies. The generated yields are then distributed back to users through the R2USD stablecoin, ensuring a transparent and borderless yield-generating process.

What Makes R2 Protocol Unique?

R2 Protocol stands out by integrating real-world assets into the DeFi space, offering a stablecoin that not only maintains its value but also generates passive income. Its permissionless nature, flexible redemption options, and focus on user-first design make it accessible to a global audience without geographical or institutional barriers.

Who Are the Founders of R2 Protocol?

R2 Protocol was founded by Jeffrey Yang, who serves as the CEO, and Enzzo Cusihuaman, the Chief Business Development Officer. Their combined expertise drives the project's mission to democratize access to real-world asset yields.
