afk.fun is a decentralized protocol and trader marketplace primarily focused on the Solana and Starknet ecosystems. It empowers traders by allowing them to build, publish, and monetize automated trading strategies. The platform acts as an all-in-one hub for digital ownership and SocialFi, integrating social graphs from Ethereum and Bitcoin to facilitate secure exchanges of money, data, and thoughts.
How Does afk.fun Work?
The platform utilizes a 'Trader Marketplace' model where users define automated strategy parameters—such as launch time, market cap, and liquidity—which are then executed on-chain. Built on the Starknet stack with Nostr integration for social features, it leverages ZK-Rollup technology to ensure scalability and high-speed execution while maintaining the security of the underlying blockchain layers.
What Makes afk.fun Unique?
afk.fun is unique for its 'Earn Like a Terminal' feature, which allows strategy creators to earn 1% of all trading volume that flows through their published systems. Additionally, it offers unlimited smart wallet tracking with built-in scam filtering and features that allow users to backtest and paper trade strategies before risking real capital, bridging the gap between professional trading tools and retail SocialFi.
Who Are the Founders of afk.fun?
The project is spearheaded by the Aligned Fam Kernel team, a group of developers and crypto-economic researchers specialized in the Starknet ecosystem and zero-knowledge proofs. While individual identities for the specific 'fun' marketplace arm are often kept pseudonymously or linked to the broader Aligned Fam community, the project draws expertise from veterans in the SocialFi and automated trading sectors of the Solana network.
