Will Johnny Somali's Sentence Be Extended?

This market will resolve according to whether the Seoul Western District Court increases the prison sentence of Johnny Somali (a.k.a. Ramsey Khalid Ismael) at the appeal verdict currently scheduled for June 25, 2026. This market will resolve "Yes" if the court issues a sentence strictly longer than the original six months of imprisonment handed down on April 15, 2026. This market will resolve "No" if the original sentence is upheld or reduced. If the verdict is postponed, or if an official ruling is not published by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The primary resolution source will be official court records or official statements from the Seoul Western District Court. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
