What is Unitus?

Unitus Finance is a next-generation decentralized lending protocol that evolved from dForce Lending. It is designed to offer a multichain, capital-efficient, and secure DeFi money market, supporting lending and borrowing across multiple Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and BNB Chain.

How Does Unitus Work?

Unitus operates by integrating dForce’s native USX stablecoin, enabling users to supply collateral on one chain and borrow on another. This cross-chain lending is facilitated through the USX stablecoin, allowing seamless liquidity across different blockchain networks.

What Makes Unitus Unique?

Unitus stands out due to its multichain and cross-chain lending capabilities, allowing users to supply collateral on one chain and borrow on another. It also features a 'Supercharged Mode' offering higher loan-to-value ratios for correlated assets, and a 'Segregated Mode' providing isolated lending markets for long-tail or higher-risk assets.

Who Are the Founders of Unitus?

Unitus Finance emerged from the dForce DeFi protocol matrix and is currently governed by dForce token holders. The transition to governance by UTS token holders is planned once a satisfactory level of decentralization is achieved.
