Bitget Wallet Virtual Account: Your Own USD and EUR Account, In Your Wallet
Product
Getting paid in dollars or euros usually means jumping through hoops. You need a US or European bank account, and getting one often comes down to having the right residency, paperwork, or access to a branch that may be thousands of miles away. For millions of people working across borders, that means money that is meant for them can still end up stuck behind the borders of the traditional financial system.
That's now changing. We're launching
Virtual Account, a feature that gives you your own
USD and
EUR account numbers directly inside your self-custodial wallet, so you can receive money through traditional payment rails and have it automatically converted into USDT or USDC in your wallet. It's
free to open,
available worldwide, and
requires no residency in the US or Europe and no branch visit, giving you a simpler way to access global payment rails from wherever you are.
How Virtual Account works
Open a virtual account and you get a
real USD and EUR account number of your own. Share it the way you'd share any bank account details, and incoming funds land in your wallet as stablecoins.
Built for digital economies
The virtual account is built for three everyday situations:
-
Getting paid from abroad: Cross-border workers and freelancers can receive USD or EUR salaries directly from US or EU employers, without needing a local bank account or an additional middleman to receive their money.
-
Receiving remittances: People in emerging markets can receive international transfers through their own USD or EUR account numbers at a fraction of the cost of traditional remittance services.
-
Funding your wallet: Onramp your money from a regular bank account into stablecoins directly, with better rates without routing it through a centralized exchange or a third-party onramp.
Virtual Account is powered by our licensed banking partner
Noah and supports incoming transfers over
ACH,
Fedwire,
SEPA, and
SWIFT, bringing some of the world's most widely used payment rails directly into your wallet.
Outbound transfers are coming in the next few months, further expanding what you can do with money once it reaches your account.
The full financial cycle, in one wallet
Moving money across borders can be expensive, especially when multiple banks, payment providers, and intermediaries take a cut along the way. A
$500 ACH transfer through Virtual Account costs about
$2.00 in Bitget Wallet fees. The global average cost to send the same amount through traditional remittance services is around
6%, or roughly
$30 on that $500, according to World Bank data. Third-party fees, such as those from a sending bank or a blockchain network, may still apply separately.
But the real value of Virtual Account goes beyond simply making it cheaper to move money. Once your funds arrive, you can spend them with the
Bitget Wallet Card or through QR payments, send them across borders, earn yield, or invest in crypto and tokenized real-world assets, all without having to move your money between different financial apps and accounts.
It joins the
Onchain Payments Matrix, our global payment infrastructure connecting crypto assets, stablecoins, and traditional banking rails. Together, these pieces point to what a self-custodial wallet can become: not just somewhere to store or trade digital assets, but a financial account that lets you receive, move, spend, save, and invest your money while keeping control in your own hands.
Zero transaction fees on your first transaction
To mark the launch, from 27 Oct, 20:00 – 31 Dec, 23:59 (UTC+8), the first 1,000 eligible users worldwide to receive a first deposit of at least 50 USD or EUR net in their USD or EUR Virtual Account get zero transaction fees – covering rail fees, volume fees, and network fees. Slots are first-come, first-served.
How the benefit works
You'll be charged standard fees when you deposit, then Bitget Wallet refunds those fees straight to your Rewards Account.
Two things to keep in mind:
-
Minimum to qualify: At least 50 USD or EUR must land in your Virtual Account after standard fees are deducted. The 50 USD or EUR minimum is measured before the refund – so you'll need to send a little extra to cover fees and clear the threshold.
-
Refund cap: Fees are waived on the first 1,000 USD or EUR of your deposit. Anything above that is charged standard fees as normal.
Who's eligible
-
First-time users of the Bitget Wallet Virtual Account
-
Users who reside in a region where Virtual Account is available
Rewards are limited to the first 1,000 qualifying users across the whole campaign period, first-come, first-served.
Additionally, from 30 Oct to 13 Nov, we're also running a UGC campaign with a
$2,000 prize pool on our social media channels. Head over to our official

Everyday finance, powered by crypto
For millions of people, having access to dollar accounts and cross-border banking has always depended on where they live, what documents they have, and which financial institutions are willing to serve them. Bringing US and EU payment rails directly into a wallet you own removes some of those barriers and creates a more accessible way to participate in the global financial system, bringing us one step closer to everyday finance that works across borders and for everyone.
Open your
Virtual Account
in the Bitget Wallet app today and start receiving USD and EUR straight to your wallet as stablecoins.
